Liverpool Engagement Photography
I absolutely love winter light and this wonderful Liverpool engagement shoot just shows why! Heather and Mike have the best engagement story too! A transatlantic love.. They met on a cruise ship, fell head over heels and then got engaged just a few months later- how romantic! We scheduled our shoot for Heather’s visit to the UK and the whole session was just such a pleasure to photograph. Thank you both for a wonderful afternoon!
Melissa and Andy had a beautifully relaxed urban wedding right in the heart of Liverpool. Right up my street! (Literally too!!) With an intimate ceremony to start in the iconic St George’s Hall and a fun filled reception at the totally unique Camp and Furnace, Melissa and Andy totally rocked getting married in Liverpool!
One of my highlights was getting to whizz off round the city for a full hour (Yes a full hour! Amazing!) during our portrait session. This meant we had loads of time to get creative and visit lots of my favourite spots. As an artist, I have always been drawn to the city’s strong lines and gritty landscape and Liverpool has so many epic buildings to choose from. A few weeks before the wedding I had great fun planning a route around a range of locations- some well know and some not so…
To finish the night we ventured up onto the Camp and Furnace’s amazing roof and timed it perfectly to get that stunning sunset… What a fantastic day! Thanks so much Melissa and Andy for choosing me to capture it all!
If your planning your big day and would like to find out more- just drop me a message in the contact section.
Did I mention I love autumn? Well I’m about to mention it a lot in this month’s blogs! October was a super busy, fun filled autumnal dream… I kicked the month off with a fantastic family portraits session in Calderstones Park, Liverpool. The Cassidy family were a dream to work with, so relaxed and little Ethan was a bundle of energy, making us smile the whole time. We kept the session really informal and just captured moments as they happened which created a lovely natural and intimate set of photographs. The autumn colour provided lots of vibrant backgrounds as well as good leaf confetti for Ethan! I definitely cannot write this post without mentioning Ethan’s stick! It reminded me so much of my childhood and my little brother’s necessity to always have a good stick at hand! Invaluable for all walks and very important for poking things and in my case, that ‘thing’ was mainly me!! Thank you Claire, Ian and Ethan for a wonderful afternoon!
If you would like to capture your family in relaxed and natural setting then don’t hesitate to contact me for a chat. I have lots of great locations up my sleeve for winter too! I just love working with that strong dramatic light that winter brings:)
